Internet Marketing Gurus Suck

That’s right, if you’re an “Internet Marketing guru” you suck. Let me tell you why:

Most of you offer nothing of value. If you do offer something of value, it’s seriously overpriced. All you seem interested in, is in fleecing your customers for every penny they’ve got, and then some. You suck for that.
You support people like James Arthur Ray, who stands accused of killing 3 people, and is at least morally guilty of a fourth death.
You support people like David Schirmer.
You schlep crap like “The Secret” and the “Law” of attraction.
Have you no shame? You want to sell a jpeg printout (read a picture) of a doll for $50?
You just repackage and resell Private Label Right (PLR) products and pass them off as your own.
You resell the same junk over and over again. I know people keep buying it, but do you really have to sell the same crap over and over again? You suck for that.
None of you talk about the realities of owning and running an online business. I’m talking the part about taxes, state comptrollers, IRS regulations, credit card merchant rules etc. You know that if you did tell people about all that, they’ll likely not buy the crap that you’re selling. You suck for that.
You make it seem like it’s so freaking easy. Seriously, take a few minutes to listen to a pitch from an Idaho based internet marketing guru and wrestler and you’ll see what I mean.
You pray on people’s dreams and desires for a better life, you pretend to care, you pretend to want to help, but really all you care about is money. You suck for that.

I don’t care if your “company” was featured on Inc. 500, it means nothing to me unless you’re truthful about how you got there. I don’t care that you were on Oprah, Larry King, or whatever other TV show. You suck and I’m done with you.

You are conniving, manipulative, deceitful and untrustworthy.

Despite all that, I want to thank you.

Thank you for opening my eyes to what you truly are.

You’ve made me realize that evil doesn’t always look like a demon with horns, breathing fire and threatening to take your soul.

Devil

Evil comes at you in an $5000 suit, wearing nice shoes, driving an expensive luxury car and invites you to dinner at “their” big house or a fancy restaurant. All of which is financed with the hopes and dreams of suckers.

For the record, not all internet marketers are schmucks.

There is a small cadre of people that are really interested in teaching other people the ropes and showing people where the land mines are. The problem, is that it’s a small cadre. There are many “big name” and “legends in their own mind” big name people that are only out to fleece you with their frauduct.

Don’t fall for their ploy.

Shame on you “gurus” for taking advantage of the poor and desperate. Shame on me for not noticing the farce earlier.

James Arthur Ray: Creating Absolute Nonsense

This is a cool video of James Ray. It’s been awhile since I’ve posted anything about the guy since other people are doing a great job at it. Just for the love of Google, James Arthur Ray, is the fake new wage guru that killed 4 people in 90 days during 2009. The guy, for some unknown reason, kept a video urging people to come to one of his $1000 events in San Diego. It just so happens that Colleen Conaway died at that event while under the “care” of Death Ray and his staff.

Here’s a guy claiming to want to teach you to create harmonic wealth, whatever that is, yet his attorney says that “James is not a wealthy guy.” I guess the attorney didn’t see any of the materials that Death Ray put out where he brags about how wealthy he is.

Australian Conman From The Secret Was Only Channeling Jim Belushi

This is awesome. In reality, the Australian conman in the secret isn’t really a sorry sack of dog excrement, he was really just channeling Jim Belushi.

Or, maybe this is more James Arthur Ray, aka Death Ray, aka Sweat Lodge Guru, aka the guy that killed 4 people in 3 months at his LGAT events.

I came across this video on a different website, and it was just too good not to repost. It’s no secret that I think the book and infomercial “The Secret” and the “Law of Attraction” is all a load of malarky.

Let me count the ways…

Featured in “The Secret” book/ infomercial are a bunch of people like James Arthur Ray, David Schirmer, Joe Vitale, Bill Harris and others.

Yesterday, February 3rd James Arthur Ray, aka Death Ray, was arrested for killing 3 people at a sweat lodge in Arizona. Death Ray was charged with Manslaughter, which is unintentional homicide.
David Schirmer appears to be a fraud addict. He has been featured on many different news channels for his tendency to take people’s money and not delivering on his promises. David Schirmer is also notorious for being a stock broker/ advisor that can’t seem to pick any winning stocks.
Bill Harris sells something called “HoloSync” or maybe hollow stink??, that was required reading during the Death Ray seminars. Apparently, these $300 CDs that he sells are done much better by other people and they only charge $49. Harris also acts like a big d-bag.
Joe Vitale, sells you among other things, photocopies of pictures of Russian dolls and wants to convince you that the photocopies have some kind of mystical power, just like the real dolls do. It’s the Law of Attraction at work.

Given that Death Ray was in “The Secret” and all of the shenanigans that have ensued from a lot of the people featured in that infomercial, I feel it’s appropriate to post this nice video created by some folks from Australia.

James Arthur Ray on CNN

It’s been a while since I’ve talked about James Arthur Ray, AKA Death Ray. I came across this post over on the Salty Droid’s blog, and felt like I needed to chime in.

The video below, is about the sociopath James Arthur Ray, and features an interview of a former staff member of his.

The gems from the video are:

James Ray is a sociopath and a megalomaniac
Up to 10 people are expected to be charged with felonies in connection with the sweat lodge deaths in Sedona
People are now, finally, talking about Colleen Conaway. She died in a July James Ray event
James Ray and his company James Ray International are still not cooperating with authorities investigating the deaths

After the above video, CNN interviewed Deepak Chopra. Apparently, the problem with the self help industry is that it’s not regulated. The fact that a bunch of Charlatans with high priced PR people can get on as many TV “news” shows and “news” magazines to do as many self promotional “interviews” as they please has nothing to do with it.

So basically, according to Chopra and Anderson Cooper, in order to prevent another Sedona death lodge and another Death Ray from rising up, we need regulation. We need some kind of agency to over see self help gooroos and regulate what they can and cannot do and say. Self regulation is the best way to go, according to Chopra.

I’m not entirely convinced self regulation is the answer.

The takeaway from all of these videos, in my opinion, is that:

“The Secret” is a pile of cow manure.
The “Law of Attraction” is no law at all.
News reporters are not in the business of actually telling the news.
If you need help, find a fully qualified professional, in a properly regulated industry to help you.

Who is James Arthur Ray?

One of the goals that I wanted to accomplish with this blog was to help shed light onto scams and scammers. There are some serious scammers out there, which fortunately only want your money, but there is at least 1 guy who will take your life too.

Enter James Arthur Ray.

This is a guy with no medical, coaching or counseling credentials whatsoever who thanks to the media became a “darling” and made millions of dollars “life coaching” people to death. This guy is a snake oil salesman, pretending to be a guru, life healer, shaman type of person.

Death Ray, as we call him, is responsible for 4 deaths in 90 days over the summer of 2009. You read that right, 4 deaths.

Google “James Arthur Ray sweat lodge deaths” and you’ll get a “heapin helpin” of what I’m talking about.

Anyway, you don’t just become Death Ray overnight, so here’s a clip from my good friend Salty Droid that shows how the media failed in their duty to uncover the truth:

I don’t know about you, but I can literally see the Death Ray’s head getting bigger as the clips progress. It seems like those “journalists” did nothing but inflate Death Ray’s ego.

I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again, “The Secret” is a load of bull malarky. At least 10% of the “gurus” or “stars” or whatever it is that they call themselves in that pathetic piece of garbage have serious ethical issues hanging over them.

1 bad apple ruins the bunch

You know what they say about 1 rotten apple ruining the bunch, well, imagine 10% of the apples in the bunch are rotten, would you still want that particular bunch? That we know of, 10% of the people featured in “The Secret” are rotten apples.

Seriously folks, if you want to read a good book that could really help your life that’s based on something that requires you to have faith, go find yourself a good bible based church and start attending.
