10th Anniversary of the iPod

I remember working at Apple when the iPod came out. One of the things that I did, was to make sure that we had a sample of whatever product was being shipped available for the tech support phone reps to use. In that capacity, I got to hold what I think was one of the first iPods to arrive in Austin.

Those were the days.

I really enjoyed this graphic since it shows the exponential growth of the iPod from when it was introduced to where it is now. It doesn’t look like Apple is going to release a “10th Anniversary iPod” which would be a “TAP” much like the 10th Anniversary Macintosh was called a “TAM.”
