Bad Web Design Drives Me Nuts

Maybe I shouldn’t call it “bad web design” since it’s really just a case of misaligned pixels. Having said that, I can tell you that something like this would’ve driven me nuts not very long ago.

Notice how the buttons aren’t quite in a straight line? I think it’s only 2-3 pixels, but it’s enough for me to notice and for me to want to fix it.

People ask me why I don’t do websites anymore, and it’s because of things like what’s in the picture.

I’d want those buttons and the text to be aligned, and I would want to spend an inordinate amount of time working to get them aligned properly.

I can’t do that anymore.

I just don’t have the interest to put up with that type of stress anymore.

Creating a web design is a challenge, but it is an achievement. An interesting work that everyone can do. And a passion that deserves a lot of chances to do.

I agree with you. It just drives me nuts that the pixels are not aligned properly. Thanks for the comment!
