Not All Showcases At SXSW Were Crowded

This was a pretty big venue that was setup at 4th and Colorado, yet the place was empty. The bands that were playing were half decent, and they played with gusto, the problem was simply that not many people were in there to watch them play. Entrance was free, there was a cool photo booth and yet, the event was sparsely attended.

Hats off to the bands that played as if the place was packed to the gills.

To me, this definitely highlights the point that I read somewhere about SXSW being the ultimate red sea venue. Too many events vying for the attention of a fixed number of attendees.

Did you find other venues and showcases like this?
