The Gingerbread House of 2015

My team at work is not known for being enthusiastic about partaking in office activities. We tend to not volunteer for anything that we’re not getting paid to do. That sounds a lot worse than it is, or maybe not.

In anticipation of tonight’s office holiday party, last week they gave each team a gingerbread house to make. My team, in typical fashion had not done any work on our house until this morning. We were given the edict that we had to take part and that we had to complete a house.

So we did.

We started off a little slow:

But then, we started to pick up our pace.

And then we just went out whole hog. I won’t post all the individual pics, but here is what I posted on Instagram.

So, maybe we went a little over the top, but at the end of the day, isn’t that what the holiday season is all about?

I probably shouldn’t mention this, but as a joke, the dinosaur is carrying a secret cargo that only we in the search team know about. We think it’s friggin hilarious.

Just to give you an idea of the quality of work that other teams put into their gingerbread houses, check this out:

Yeah, ours is better.
