There’s Nothing Inherently Wrong With Being A Stripper

In my facebook feed this week, there was an post from “papi blogger” that just rubbed me the wrong way. I’m not a big fan of the guy because I feel like he’s very light on content but really heave on promoting products and whatever. Maybe I’m not a fan because I’m jealous of his “success” at attracting and keeping sponsors and whatever, but that’s not relevant right now.

The “Octomom” will be stripping for food. What other resources does she have to avoid being a stripper?

The thing that rubbed me the wrong way, is that there’s nothing inherently wrong with being a stripper. It’s a job just like being a police officer, or a soldier or a politician or anything else for that matter.

I don’t agree with the word “avoid” since it implies something negative. I don’t know what her other options may or may not be, but if she feels that becoming a stripper is a valid one, then more power to her.

Personally, I wouldn’t go see her perform, but I respect her choice to do what she feels she needs to do to save her home and provide for her kids.
